ReplyDeleteI am wondering if anyone can recall Max Homewood and I think George Macrides participating in an elephant race down the main street. I think it coincided with a Mardi Gras and whilst the circus was in town.
DeleteI spoke to Alan Taylor today, he remembers the occasion because he also rode one of the elephants.
ReplyDeleteNew info to hand: Patricia Henfry was one of our-year's teachers for part of 1966 and Eunice Mitusses for the other half of the year. Fran Rijavic was one of our Home Ec teachers.
