After a lot of planning and organisation by Kylie Whitehead and Greg Rutherford, the date of the 1960 Grade 1 cohort 2024 reunion was finally upon us. We all had such a good time in 2014 we wondered how this event would pan out. There is an adage that it is sometimes dangerous to repeat a great time just in case if fizzles.

Friday 4th October
17:00 Early birds’ dinner at the Bruce Rock District Club
Saturday 5th October
7:30 – 9:30 Arrival, welcome and breakfast at the Shire Hall supper room (home base)
9:30 – 10:30 Wander around Johnson Street, enjoy some retail therapy or just chat some more
10:30 – 11:30 Visit Bruce Rock Museum and morning tea
11:30 – 2:30 Lunch at Ardath Hotel
2:30 – 3:30 Bruce Rock Craft Shop visit
3:30 – 4:30 Mini wildflower bus tour
5:00 till late Drinks, dinner, quiz and more talking at ‘home base’
Sunday 6th October
08:00 – 10:30 Breakfast at ‘home base’
10:30 – 12:00 Tour of the ‘big school’
12:00 Lunch at ‘home base’ for the few remainers
