This scribe again braved the cold and went for another walk
around the entrails of Bruce Rock on this Sunday morning. I was surprised that the fast-food joint in what
used to be the Picadilly Cafe had just opened at 5:30am on a Sunday morning
and seemed to be doing a good trade – but nothing tempted me.

Did you know the old St John Ambulance Centre is at 10
Johnson Street and the first ambulance was personally delivered to Bruce Rock
by former Governor Sir James Mitchell. I
only know this because it is on the plaque out the front.
