2024 - Another Sneaky Walk Around Town

CLICK ON PHOTOS FOR LARGER IMAGES

This scribe again braved the cold and went for another walk around the entrails of Bruce Rock on this Sunday morning.  I was surprised that the fast-food joint in what used to be the Picadilly Cafe had just opened at 5:30am on a Sunday morning and seemed to be doing a good trade – but nothing tempted me.

You can get nearly everywhere from BK

The Ambulance Centre has a new mural since 2014

Did you know the old St John Ambulance Centre is at 10 Johnson Street and the first ambulance was personally delivered to Bruce Rock by former Governor Sir James Mitchell.  I only know this because it is on the plaque out the front.

Doesn't look like a Copshop with people inside

There is a lot of history here

Yet another town mural and the side of the new supermarket - and a nice one too boot

They took heating seriously back in the day
